Walking with Grief as a Sacred Companion
Grief changes everything. It asks us to stop, to listen, and to feel the depth of what it means to love and to lose. In this work, we do not try to fix grief or move past it. Instead, we learn how to live alongside it, to let it speak, and to allow it to shape us into something more open and alive. Grief Guidance offers spaces of tenderness, reflection, and support. Through community, movement, and mindful practice, we explore the many ways grief expresses itself and how love continues to transform through loss.
A Note from Liziah
Grief has shaped the way I see the world. It has taught me that love and sorrow are not opposites but companions. In the work of grief, we learn how to hold both with reverence. If you are walking through loss, I want you to know that you are not alone. There is no timeline, and there is no right way to grieve. There is only your way, and it deserves space and care.
Connecting In Grief and Well-Being Group
The Connecting In Grief and Well-Being Group is a compassionate gathering for those navigating the complexities of grief. Each session offers a place to rest, to speak your story, and to be witnessed without expectation.
The group includes gentle movement, breath awareness, journaling, and shared reflection. Participants often find comfort in the presence of others who understand the landscape of loss. Together, we learn how to cultivate well-being within the ongoing process of grief.
This group meets biweekly and welcomes new members throughout the year.
Focus: Emotional processing, nervous system regulation, community connection, and compassionate self-support.
Dancing with Grief
Dancing with Grief is an embodied ritual that brings movement into the healing process. Through guided motion and curated music, participants are invited to express their grief through the body, releasing what words cannot carry.
Each session becomes a ceremony of remembrance and renewal. We move to honor what was lost, to reconnect with what remains, and to make space for what is still becoming.
No dance experience is needed. The focus is presence, not performance.
Focus: Somatic release, emotional integration, creative embodiment, and ritual healing.
Grief Retreats
Retreats are an invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and to enter sacred time with your grief. Set in natural surroundings, each retreat weaves together meditation, movement, group dialogue, and quiet reflection.
Participants are supported to meet their grief with gentleness and curiosity. Nature holds what words cannot. Community offers what isolation cannot. Together, they create a circle of belonging where healing unfolds naturally.
Retreats are open to individuals, couples, and those who have attended previous grief groups.
Focus: Deep rest, spiritual connection, embodied healing, and renewal through nature.

The grief healing group really helped me to stabilize after many months of intense life experiences. Healing is a life-long process and one that is worth investing in to manage not only what has already happened and what is happening right now, but to help prepare for what is to happen tomorrow. I could not ask for a better guide and supportive soul. Thank you, Liziah!
